This Saturday 8 June, Melbourne Aquarium is celebrating World Oceans Day, where visitors can get involved in an entire day jam-packed with sea friendly activities to help raise awareness about marine conservation issues.
Championing the theme ‘Ocean Clear Up’, Melbourne Aquarium aims to further educate visitors on the importance of recycling and the effects pollution has on our local marine animals, while highlighting the ways individuals can take action and do their bit to protect our ocean for future generations.
Throughout the entire Queen’s Birthday long-weekend, there are plenty of fun activities for even the smallest fishy fans including arts and crafts, special presentations, animal feeds and interactive animal encounters—not to mention special appearances from our ambassador Sharkie!
