Children will use their imagination during the 45 minute play-based learning session. Students participate in a variety of dress-ups and role plays using characters from within each of Melbourne Aquarium’s worlds. Participants then apply understandings by exploring Melbourne Aquarium during a 45 minute guided tour, where they will view penguins as big as the students themselves and other amazing aquatic creatures. The final 30 minutes of the program is self-guided.

Teachers may elect to tour Melbourne Aquarium at their own pace focusing on areas of their choice. Be amazed at the abundance of aquatic species and the unique environments on display with the freedom and flexibility to self-pace with your students. This popular program allows you to choose as much free time as you need in any of the Aquarium’s worlds during your two hour underwater journey.
