This exciting program is an opportunity for Middle Years students undertaking Melbourne Aquarium education programs to learn about important environmental and conservation issues through practical, student centred hands-on learning.

When participating in any of Underwater Zoo's guided Middle Years education programs (Whose Home?, Watery Webs, Smart Waterways or the General Program), school groups have the opportunity to take part in Habitat Health Watch. Classes are provided with a FREE water test kit so that they can test local aquatic habitats and formulate methods to improve the health of their local environment.

The Habitat Health Watch program provides the opportunity for students to participate in environmental monitoring and response and supports VELS initiatives.
