Melbourne Aquarium is welcoming a new addition to the 2.2 million litre Oceanarium – a 200kg, two metre long Giant Grouper.
Since arriving at the aquarium, the grouper has already proven to be a popular feature of the exhibit, with school holiday visitors finding the giant fish a HUGE attraction!
When initially arriving at Melbourne Aquarium, this shy giant kept to the corners of the exhibit. Now he has firmly settled in as the king of the tank, even earning the respect of the sharks and giant stingrays.
