Marine Science Careers Day is a fantastic opportunity for students to discover a range of careers in the field of marine science, to hear about everyday experiences from professionals in the field and see a working example in the day-to-day running of Melbourne Aquarium.
Speakers are selected from various fields including, Animal Husbandry, Wildlife Consultation, Veterinary Sciences and research in marine science.
In addition to expert presentations, students are given a guided tour of Melbourne Aquarium which provides an insight into the reality of a career in marine science. The tour includes the back of house curatorial area and the opportunity for students to observe shark dives and penguin feeds.
All students will take away an information pack which includes an up-to-date list of some of the best courses in marine science at both TAFEs and universities throughout Australia.
