VCE PROGRAMS:
Underwater Zoo has developed a range of new programs specifically for VCE. The programs listed below are currently being updated and more information will be available shortly. Please note that bookings are still welcome. 

Biology: Marine Diversity
Students examine a range of marine organisms in order to compare and contrast how animals from different taxonomic groups function.

Biology and Environmental Science: Creating Environments
Students compare and contrast the biotic and a-biotic factors of two different environments, and learn how to conserve our natural environment and understand how ecosystems function.

Biology: Disaster Strikes
Students hypothesize if a marine animal, based on the benefits of its adaptations, could survive a marine disaster.

Biology: Fish Forensics
Students explain, using evidence, the hypothetical death of an animal at the aquarium, and make suggestions to avoid the situation being repeated.

Biology: Fossil Identification
Students predict the taxonomy and ecology of a hypothetical fossil, based on comparisons with living marine animals.

Chemistry: The Science of Water
Students learn how the water within the exhibits is kept clean and at the correct chemical balance to keep the animals healthy.

Available Terms: 1-4, Monday-Friday.
Session times: 8:15am, 10:00am, 12:30pm & 3:00pm
Cost: $13.50 + GST
